The Curious Case of Pakistan, China, TTP and BRI

On 1st October Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan broke all hell loose when on the Turkish government-run TV channel, TRT World, he disclosed that the Pakistani government is in secret talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), facilitated by the Afghan Taliban.

The Pakistanis were upset for many reasons. They were upset that they were kept in the dark while the government was holding talks with TTP. Another reason which upset them was that the Pakistani Prime Minister broke the news on a Turkish and not on a Pakistani TV channel. But the biggest setback was to the parents of over 150 children who lost their lives in the December 2014 massacre in the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar, supposedly undertaken by the TTP.

But Pakistan is desperate to hurt India and please China. To achieve this goal they will shake hands with Devil too. My latest article predicted change of ISI Chief well before anyone thought of:

    They are making the same mistake as the Americans have been doing in supporting Osama Bin Laden and Saddat (and in Latin American and African countries). Give support to the wrong people for the wrong reasons … it will always, always backfire. It also shows that people don’t count for them, not even the citizens of the governments’ own countries.

      The protagonist for the collapse would be Xi Jinping, who is hell-bent upon destroying everything around him. Childhood scars are showing their effects.

        Everything, everywhere, whatever undesirable has happened, global or local, that is man-made, traces back to psychological reasons. To save the future from such turning points of history, the ideal solution, that is of eradicating these root causes, lies with the psychologists and economists working at a social scale, obviously before one acquires power and goes to the Point of No Return, past which it is only a matter of defence or resistance.

China will not collapse but will align with Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Jordan so that they will be able to assist in an attack on the Beautiful Land. But the One “who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

      What the USA was trying to avoid for 20 yrs, China, Pakistan duo are preparing Afghanistan for exactly that. Sad but true.

        I’m reminded of Peter Hopkirk’s The Great Game and Setting the East Ablaze. The road to very dark places is paved with good intentions and grand plans, it seems….We’ll see if China is ultimately any more successful in achieving its goals than Russia, Britain, or the US, won’t we?

        Fortunately, in Britain and the United States, there were debates on right and wrong were allowed. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, even Russia had that change which they lost. But there is no such possibility in China. When an individual starts becoming stronger than the state itself that is the time everyone should brace for the untoward.

    Definitely the situation is grim owing to the fact that the enemy is treacherous using all immoral tactics in politics and is expert in stabbing from behind!We will have to find befitting reply trading with the dragon in the same coin it uses🙏🏾

    As a native of Pakistan, I have to defend my country. It was not a fault of our Prime minister Imran Khan, It was a terrorits attack on That institution and killed our inocent childrens and students. They wanted to take revenge of their fellows who had been hanges and killed by our Army in defence.
