Commander, your analyses of global relations are always fascinating reading!
However, the best definition of “expert” I have read is “ex-spurt”: a drip that dried up.”😂
That 83% of experts expect the US to continue its global leadership affirms this definition. Since Clinton’s presidency, the US has been in a downward spiral which continues no matter who is President. Our people are too enamored of celebrity, fame and monetary wealth. Even our religious leaders are succumbing to worldly views and the trend to depend on faulty elected officials increases across the spectrum of political parties.
All that would be required to move the USA to third world status BEHIND India, China and Russia would be a natural or weaponized EMP that would decimate our nation in less than two years.
While it is unlikely that Russia or China would “spit into the wind” and so weaken their best customer, new nuclear players such as North Korea or Iran, which are motivated by ideology more than economy, will not hesitate if they see an opportunity to move themselves to global leadership.
We are nearing the End of Days prophesied by Ezekiel, Daniel, and the apostles, Paul, Peter and John.
May the Creator, The God Who Is, have mercy on the billions of India and China and the rest of the world.
    yours and His, c.a.
