By now every human being on the planet is aware of the ‘Chinese Balloon Saga’ in some form or the other. In a week, the spy balloon traveled leisurely over various U.S. sensitive sites. It did surveillance, hovered, and maneouvered while all of America looked helplessly.

The Chinese balloon was eventually taken down by an F-22 fighter jet from Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, on February 5, using a single AIM-9X Sidewinder missile, off the coast of South Carolina.

My latest article tells you all you want to know about the “Chinese Spy Balloon”:

  1. “Helplessly” hardly describes the US response to the balloon as it sailed across the entire continental nation. “Ineptly” would be the better word.
There is no question the US even has the capability to have captured the balloon in flight without damaging the payload nor risking “casualties” on the ground.
Besides, “casualties” in IDAHO!!? With 83,570 square miles (216,400 km2) and only 21.6 people per square mile, it would have taken an expert marksman to have hit anything of value or anyone as most of its 1,839,106 people are in the cities. It has some of the largest unspoiled natural areas in the United States, including the largest contiguous area of protected wilderness in the country.
One wonders if the Bidens were not complicit in letting Xi fly his balloon across the country!?
Add that a nuclear payload could easily be mounted to deliver a severe EMP from several miles high and one has to wonder if the US will not soon be a third world country with our entire electric grid knocked out. Projections estimate up to 90% of the US population would have a very difficult time learning to survive if this occurred.

    1. Thank you so much for your informed review. Surely the whole world wanted and expected a better response. The greed of the corporate world and the politicians standing behind them is the reason for such pusillanimous behavior in most countries. It would eventually cause the fall of all such nations.
