    1. Outstanding interaction Sandy. Couldn’t take my eyes off the video. Brilliant piece. Mosaic, Hedgehog strategy, the Century and decade event logic, Theatre commands, the 4th dimension beyond Artificial intelligence, Russia into the Quad, our strength in the string of pearls, the fact that India needs to pick up speed to buld ships and weapons! Hop Hope our Aat

      1. Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your wonderful thoughts. These are indeed interesting times.

  1. Soft power and sharp power was a good point you brought out. Interesting and knowledge based talk covering a wide spectrum of topics . Keep educating us .

  2. Excellent and very insightful talk analyzing various geopolitical issues in Chinese context very deliberately. The realistic assessment of strategic naval capabilities of China in Indian Ocean, South China sea and Arabian sea was enlightening and thought provoking. A different perspective on rise of China stealthily to achieve it’s aspiration to become super power post 2001 US – Russia imbroglio is interesting. Indeed a very informative and educative interview Sandeep..

  3. First of all, it is nice to watch you on camera, after reading your invaluable intellectual articles on text. As usual, you have made an unskewed review of the status quo, regarding which I recall the basic 3S – Strength, Skill and Speed – requisites of a martial artist.

I do agree on the hopes with Iran and India, even in a pessimistic scale, that millenia of history is too huge to be shrunk at once, thus yielding plenty of time for betterment. Among other matters discussed, especially beyond the network and decision-centric command, the matter of 4th offset strategy is interestingly thought-provoking. I suppose, that might include deep learning the opponent’s forces distribution matrix, further augmented with a temporal dimension sliced by arena. After all, making your quote – “Geopolitics is a changing vista.”

    1. Excellent, clear headed responses, and interaction. Did benefit from your take on various aspects. The Russian angle was new, and is worth exploring further. There is a precedence too – US had weaned away China from the USSR, with Pak’s help, in 1971.

PS – How can I contact you?

  5. Certainly an excellent talk covering majority of the aspects. It even highlights how China capitalised on other countries mistake and in future how India needs to be better prepared.

  6. Sandomina…your blog is getting more and more popular and rightly so….fresh thoughts from someone who has the relevant experience & who has “been there and done that” adds more authenticity which is backed by outstanding research. Keep up the great work and Congratulations on taking big strides in this strategic area 👍

    1. Thank you so much, Shailesh, for stopping by and sharing your experience and thoughts with all of us.

  7. very well articulated Sandy! very informative and thought stimulating observations made by you. Pertinent points brought out like IOR can only be well managed by the Indian Navy with support from Indian Army & IAF apart from the QUAD forces. Since China can only deploy its Navy they will be heavily outnumbered. Excellent training quality & ethos of the Indian Armed Forces will be the game changer in future battles. Involvement of Russia in QUAD + is something that we need to work on definitely as it will completely change the geopolitical balance of power against China! My compliments to you on a very well researched and informative interview! Regards!
